HVAC Service Technician – Tech 1 (Entry Level) – $18–$20/hr + Commission (Fort Worth)

Most shops give you a van and chaos. We’re building a Gold Collar championship team in Fort Worth – not a circus.

We’re looking for Tech 1 HVAC Service Technicians (0–12 months experience) who want training, structure, and a clear path to higher pay and responsibility.

What You’ll Do (Tech 1)

• Assist with residential service calls and maintenance
• Help with change‑outs and installs under supervision
• Learn to diagnose and repair HVAC systems the right way
• Keep trucks and tools organized and ready
• Communicate clearly with lead techs, office, and customers
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures

What You Need

• 0–12 months HVAC experience (or trade school / related mechanical work)
• Willingness to learn, show up, and be coached
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools
• TDLR & EPA preferred (or strong willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Able to pass a drug test

Pay & Incentives – Tech 1

• $18–$20/hr to start
• Quarterly $1/hr performance bumps in your first 12 months (based on performance)
• Commission:
• 1% on $100–$3,000
• 0.5% on $3,000–$100,000

Schedule & Benefits (All Tech Levels)

• Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (paid OT in peak season)
• Evaluating 4 x 10s (3 days off each week) for the right techs
• W‑2, company insurance after 60 days
• Company truck, fuel card, iPad, uniforms, major tools
• Paid drive time, realistic call counts
• PTO, sick time, 9 paid weekday holidays (double time if on‑call)
• 80–160 hrs vacation based on tenure + option to sell back 40 hrs per year
